Progress Report... El Shaddai Babies' Home

We are excited to share that great progress has been made on the construction of the El Shaddai Babies' Home in Lugazi, Uganda! The windows and doors have been purchased and installed, and the plumbing and electrical is well under way. We look forward to the new year when construction is complete, the doors are open, and the baby home is officially up and running. Would you please consider making a donation to help complete the house so that they can begin the important work of caring for the abandoned children of Lugazi? Please pray that God would continue to provide the necessary funding for this very special project, and consider how you can play a part in this amazing work...thank you!

We Just Want to Say "Thanks..."

Our first annual barbeque fundraiser was a huge success! Thanks to your support and willingness to eat some delicious "Q" for a great cause, over $2,000 was raised in September to benefit 141 projects in Uganda. We appreciate everyone's support and willingness to come out, and we would especially like to thank Coastal Coffee Roasters in Summerville for blessing us with the use of their establishment.

141 would also like to say a special thank you to Faith Lutheran Church in Montgomeryville, Pennsylvania for hosting a cloth diaper drive on our behalf. The donations that have been lovingly collected by your congregation will be hand delivered by members of our Board to the El Shaddai Babies' Home this December. We greatly appreciate your generosity, big heart, and willingness to show love in a tangible way...thank you!

One Person CAN Make a Difference!

We are excited to announce that 141 Impact has partnered with Emily Clough and the Kwagala Baby House in Iganga, Uganda to begin a child sponsorship program. Emily is a native of Columbia, South Carolina and has a huge heart for rescuing abandoned children. "Kwagala" means love in Luganda, and Emily has dedicated her life to loving the children of Uganda. To learn more about Emily's vision and ministry, visit www.salvationinuganda.org. Stay tuned for more to come on this exciting opportunity and how YOU can make an impact!

Our 141 Wish List As a few of our Board members head to Uganda this December, we are looking for items to collect and bring with us for the El Shaddai Babies' Home and Kwagala Baby House. There is a great need for basic items. We are looking to collect plastic bottles, powdered formula, flat bed sheets, infant's Tylenol, and small baby toys (rattles, teething rings, etc.) If you can help by providing some of these essentials, please contact Amy at amykarpus@141impact.org. All items must be received by November 26th. Thank you!
